What does Europe mean for me:
Europe is the shared memory which manifests itself in the individual understanding of our common, transnational forms of knowledge and consciousness, social interaction and political institutions. Through this memory the objective reality of these forms is constituted - as a reality in which each of us is participating. Europe's reality is a project constituted by remembrance.
